I’ll never forget the phone call I had from Siobhan the week before her weding, it was that evening just as the circuit breaker was announced meaning that hotels were scheduled to close and in turn all wedding receptions during that period were cancelled. Siobhan, being the absolute star she is, simply said “Vickey, we just want to get married, we will somehow make it work”
It wasn’t the day they had originally planned, but where there’s a will there’s a way and the tree lined avenue outside the Chapel lent itself perfectly to some portrait shots and family photos were taken back at Siobhans parents garden, what lovely memories to look back on!
Truth be told, I don’t think we would have had a better day in a fancy hotel and because of the year its been, the small number of family and friends who were able to attend made the absolute best of it. I don’t believe one guest missed swinging Siobhan around that dance floor into the early hours.
An amazing day with an incrediable couple and what a story for the grandkids!
